VFI films™ y CONCRETA Productions (Argentina-Spain-Chile)
Are the production companies of this short film, which won the "Short of the Year" award at the European
Film Festival, produced by Promo fest. In which the result depends totally and functionally on the public
vote. The film is a psychological thriller that tells the story of the last minutes of a woman's life.
The film is produced and recorded in the city of Santiago, and post-produced in the city of Buenos Aires, to
then begin a tour of different festivals around the world. Receiving different mentions and recognitions.

VFI™ productions is in its second film production, after participating in Cannes
in its participation in theTelevision market (MIPTV) together with Mexico and Argentina.
The production company is halfway through what is expected to be its first comedy.
A film in co-production with Ireland, Mexico, France, Argentina and
of course, Chile. This film will feature no less than minor faces from the countries already mentioned.
In a very confidential stage, the production has mentioned that the film will not be recorded 100% in Latin
America, but that Ireland will be the main set for this new story that aims to break with all the production
schemes that have been proposed along the way in Latin productions based abroad. To this end, the
executive producers of the film (Chile, Argentina and Mexico) tell a little about what this conjunction of
production companies intends:
“We believe in something simple. A conjunction of different interconnected production companies
each other, will bring us closer to a much larger market in terms of audiences. For that, of course, we will
not forget the strategic points that we must touch. Whether it's actors, sets and everything that has to do
with preparing a good movie."
To achieve this, the VFI™ executive production department is in Europe forming an alliance between
production companies from different countries, which they have named “WE, THE LITTLE PEOPLE™”
International production company. This large production group is already working regarding its prep,

VFi films™ and MDM films distribution™ (Chile-Argentina) were participants in the large
MIPTV television market in Cannes, France.
A large-scale project that is being prepared with the advice and support of major institutions
such as UNAIDS, UNICEF, UNESCO, and the Chilean Ministry of Education, among others.
This is a project for all of Latin America, in a TV format, and will be led by Mexico as the sponsoring country. For now, everything that can be revealed remains strictly confidential between the three countries.

The premiere of the first episode of "Here on Earth," held at the Palais des Festivals, Cannes
was attended by its protagonists: Alfonso Dosal, Paulina Dávila y Gael Garcia Bernal.

As part of the location search for the upcoming film, VFi headed to Dublin, Ireland, where it received support from the Irish Film Board to provide locations both within
and outside the city.
The meetings took place at the offices of the Irish Film Board (Screen Ireland) in Dublin. We would like to thank Steven Davenport, who facilitated the compilation of information folders for the location screening in the city.

This film was shot at the Sermini Palace in Chile and features two renowned artists: dancers and actors Claudia Vicuña and Alejandro Cáceres.
VFI producciones™ is already announcing its leading roles as it prepares for its screenings. Claudia, who is not only a dancer but also a choreographer and actress, has been recognized both in Chile and abroad. Winner of the "Altazor" National Arts Award
for Best Dancer for the play "PAF!"
Alejandro is a dancer, actor, choreographer, and teacher. He specializes in training professionals in the field, as well as in creative body experimentation. Both have produced recognized works in Chile and around the world. This is another of the duo's collaborations.
Their joint works include "Contenedor," "Magnificar," and "PAF!", both co-directed by the Cáceres-Vicuña duo.
"PAF! It was definitely the trigger that made me want to work with them... but on film," says the film's director, J. Andrés Arce. This duo has undoubtedly acquired a strong tempo, having a long history of working together. They've achieved excellent results that are visible and recorded.
Now they're looking to surprise us with a new project.
This time in a cinematic format.
The film is a "love" story. But a dark one.
According to its producer, it's set between approximately 1920 and 1930. The story centers on the crisis of two characters who are unable to resolve their daily lives.
They enter a kind of senseless paranoia and guilt that ends up exploding in the way we least imagine. "There are certain breaks in language that are beautiful," Eduardo Arce, the executive producer of the play, tells us. "From a perspective that's different from what one is always used to seeing. This, I think, will truly captivate more than a few viewers, especially those who are already familiar with the work of the actors in question."
The film is a Chilean production with foreign support. It was sponsored by a group of international organizations, including UNESCO, and also received direct sponsorship from the Municipality of Providencia, Santiago, Chile. The Municipality provided a heritage location as a staging space for the film.

El Pardillo is VFi films' first fiction production, back in 2008-2009. This production was filmed
between locations in Santiago, Chile, and Barcelona, Spain. Its post-production ended in Santiago and Madrid.
